    Gary Struthers, AIA

(click here to visit my LinkedIn page)

Mr. Struthers is a focused problem solver and energetic mentor whose prodigious skill is supported by 16 years of award-winning design experience and 4 years of experience teaching at the university level. After every completed project, Gary emerges not with a list of new business contacts, but with a collection of new and dedicated friends. Gary’s ability to understand the needs of the affordable housing community, and his pronounced technical knowledge, make him an indispensible asset to each project team.

Gary’s volunteer commitments include grassroots housing organizations such as Rebuilding Together Oakland (including four years as house captain) and Habitat For Humanity East Bay (including two years as house captain for the Build-a-thon). He also participates annually in The American Cancer Society’s Relay-For-Life, and this year facilitated a team of volunteers to design, build and donate a dollhouse for the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation’s annual fundraising auction. Gary serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat For Humanity, and sits on their Project Development Committee.
